mySLU Share FAQs
How does a designated Authorized User get access to their student's information.
Authorized Users may access the designated student's information online through mySLUShare.slu.edu.
Authorized Users may discuss the designated student's information in person or over the phone by identifying themselves and verifying their authorization by given their 4-digit Access Code.
This Access Code is found on the Home Page of mySLUShare.slu.edu.
Does my authorized user need an email address?
Yes. a valid email address is required to be an authorized user.
What if parents share the same email address?
In order for individual authorization, users will need individual email addresses.
May I have multiple Authorized Users?
Yes, you may have more than one Authorized User with each having access specific to each them.
May an Authorized User have access to multiple students' records?
Yes, an Authorized User may have more than one student release their record to them with each having access specific to each them.
Will there be any correspondence sent to the authorized user during this process?
Yes. The authorized user will receive an email when access is granted or removed.
How will authorized users access the shared information?
Authorized users will go to mySLUShare.slu.edu.
How can authorized users reset their password?
Authorized users will go to mySLUShare.slu.edu and click Forgot Password.
Does an Authorized User have the ability to update a student's records?
No, Authorized Users may only view information associated with the designated portions of the student's record released.
