All NEW Undergraduate students' transfer courses are routed through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Office of the University Registrar for evaluation and articulation.

All CURRENT Undergraduate students' transfer courses are routed through the Office of the University Registrar for evaluation and articulation.

All new and continuing Professional and Graduate students' transfer courses are routed to the dean's office of the student for evaluation and articulation then to the Office of the University Registrar for entry on the student record.

Course Articulation Process

  1. Transcript Received by Saint Louis University
    1. New Undergraduate Students - send transcripts to:
         Saint Louis University
         Undergraduate Admissions
         One Grand Boulevard

    2. Current Undergraduate Students - send transcript to:
         Saint Louis University
         Office of the University Registrar
         One Grand Boulevard
         Saint Louis, MO 63103-2097
    3. For New or Current Professional and Graduate Students please send your transcript to the address specified by your college or Dean's Office.
    4. School for Professional Studies students send transcript to the School for Professional Studies.
  2. Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of the University Registrar
    1. Student submits transcript(s) which contain graded courses to be evaluated.
      1. If the transcript received contains ungraded coursework you will need to submit a final transcript once all course grades have been recorded by the originating institution.
      2. Courses for which the student received a "C" or better will be evaluated and articulated (courses with a grade of "C-" or below will not be transferred)
    2. Courses are entered on your student record.
      1. If courses have been evaluated previously then they will be articulated immediately.
      2. If courses have not been previously evaluated they will be routed to the most closely related department at Saint Louis University for evaluation.
  3. Student Notifications
    1. Students will receive "unofficial" e-mail confirmation as courses are articulated.
    2. Once all courses have been evaluated students will receive an "official" letter from Undergraduate Admissions.
    3. Students may view the SLU equivalent courses (courses which were not transferred will not be displayed) by viewing their academic transcript on Self Service Banner.
