- Saturday, Oct. 13th-SLU Campus Kitchen Kickoff Day
- 10am-6:30pm… we’ll do ALL activities on this day from getting donations to cooking and delivering meals to planning menus
- You need to complete a short training session regarding safety and sanitary issues in order to participate… sessions are available Wednesday 7-9:30pm or Thursday from 4-6:30pm in DeMatt dining hall

- Your role as APO members
- As a leader and co-sponsor of MADD, you can help by telling other participants to SHOW UP…remind them of their commitment
- If they can’t be there, tell them to contact Bernie in Campus Ministry
- We still need 12 site leaders
- SLU MADD is a great activity to getting people hooked on the idea of doing service
- As an active APO member, you can be a witness to those volunteers who are participating in MADD for the first time… tell them the importance of living a life of service and continuing to do service throughout the year

- SERVICE COMMITMENT STATEMENT
- Redefines the point of doing service
- You should be here because you WANT to do service, not because you HAVE to do service in order to retain membership in APO
- There will be a $1 penalty for not showing up for a project they signed up for…collected funds go towards an agency who needs money
- To avoid the $1 penalty, let someone know as soon as possible.. preferably the day before the service event
- Try to find a replacement for yourself if you can’t be there for the project
