Forensic Certificate Program
|
Students pursuing careers as criminal investigators, evidence technicians or laboratory scientists will be interested in a new program that begins this fall. The department of sociology and criminal justice will offer a certificate in forensic science to any student, but it is targeting students with a declared major in either criminal justice or a physical or life science. Forensic science involves the collection of criminal evidence, laboratory testing and presentation at trial. There will be only 15 to 20 students accepted into the certificate program per year.
