Mission Statement

The mission of the SLU Knights of Columbus is to provide the Saint Louis University and St. Louis communities with an organization dedicated to fraternity, spirituality, and service - both physical and financial - while standing in defense of the precepts of the Roman Catholic Church.

Main Principles

Charity

Knights are followers of Christ and men of faith. Here at SLU, our charity is seen through our activities, especially the Tootsie Roll Drive, Fish Fry, and community service.

Unity

Knights believe that in unity there is strength…the strength to speak out in defense of religiously grounded moral values.

Fraternity

Knights band together to help one another in times of distress. This principle takes on a more social meaning through Council activities like First Friday and weekly basketball.

Patriotism

Knights are proud citizens of the world-wide Catholic community as well as the countries in which they reside.
