Arts and Sciences

Purpose Statement: To proactively serve and represent the needs and concerns expressed by the students of the College of Arts & Sciences in order to enhance their educational experience in and out of the classroom.

Goals & Initiatives

1. Create a constant course evaluation online system that enables A&S students to send comments and concerns regarding specific teachers to the chair of their respective department at any time during the semester.

2. Address the problem of inadequate advising that some students face.

3. Ensure every teacher posts their course syllabi online, as well as ensure that each department's webpage lists the name, contact information, and office hours of their professors.
