End of Fall Season |
| The match against Vanderbilt wraps up a busy fall season in
which SLU finished up with a 7-4 record. The team now looks ahead to the spring season in which they will defend their
title in the Langenburg Cup Tournament. Finally, the team sends a fond farewell to their refugees from New Orleans.
Mark Duvall, Wade Swanson, Nick Dosky, and Mike Twillman all contributed greatly this season and we had a great time
playing with them. We look forward to playing you guys down in New Orleans sometime this Spring.

| SLU travelled to Nashville this weekend to take on
Vanderbilt. Competing with an injury ridden a-side squad that started several freshman for the first time, SLU fell
to a competitive Vanderbilt squad by a score of 34-19. Despite the loss, SLU competed until the very end and saw
some very encouraging play out of some young players. Freshman Matt Reisinger scored two tries at outside center
in his first start ever while rookies John Felbruegge, Travis Dingledine, and Kevin Moser also contributed in the
starting lineup.

A group of our squad competed in the
Lakefront 7's tournament this past weekened. We went 2-2
and were almost 3-1 but we lost in suddent death
overtime. Great job by everyone who went up to
Milwaukee. As a reminder, 7's practice with the Ramblers
continues on Thursday's at 6pm. Everyone should be
getting out there to stay in shape and keep their skills
sharp. |
