Diagnosing and treating bone and soft tissue tumors

Based at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, SLUCare orthopaedic oncologists diagnose and treat primary benign and malignant tumors of the bone and soft tissues.

We use a multidisciplinary team approach in your care that includes surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists.

Many techniques are available to treat cancer that has spread to the bone or soft tissue. Skeletal and joint reconstruction procedures for bone tumors allow our doctors to save the limbs of the majority of our patients, while our surgical treatments for soft tissue tumors aim to restore our patients to health and maximum function as quickly as possible.
