What is considered a Meal?
A meal is an all-you-can eat, cafeteria-style buffet. Meals can only be used at Reinert and Griesedieck dining halls, or from 5 - 10 p.m., the Billiken Club & Grill and Subway. Unused meals will not carry over to the next semester.
What is Flex?
Flex dollars come with the Billiken Flex Plan, Traditional Plan, Spirit Plan, Saints Plan, and two Commuter meal plans (Express Flex Plan and Ultimate Flex Plan), and are used to purchase food. Flex points should be used at times when "all-you-can eat" is not what you have in mind. Flex can be used at all University Dining Services locations.
Flex points will transfer from the fall semester to the spring semester. Any remaining at the end of the spring semester will be forfeited.
What is Bonus Flex?
Bonus Flex is just like Flex, with three exceptions: you buy these funds in addition to your meal plan, these funds do not expire at the end of the semester, and an additional "Bonus" is then added to the student's Bonus Flex account. These funds are on used in to purchase food.
What are Billiken Bucks?
Billiken Bucks is a debit account plan. The funds that you deposit can be used for purchases at IMC, Bannister House, Saint Louis University Bookstore (Barnes & Noble), Library (copying/printing), ITS software sales, all University Dining Services locations, and all participating Off-Campus locations.
These funds never expire. You may close your account at any time by submitting your request in writing.
Where can I add more money to my student's Billiken Bucks or Bonus Flex?
Billiken Bucks can be added online by visiting Parking & Card Services.
What if my student wants to change their meal plan?
Students may change their meal plans in the first 3 weeks of the semester. Click here for more information.
