Saint Louis University offers a wide variety of transportation options to help you get around campus.
Bike racks are available throughout campus. Bikes can be registered through the Department of Public Safety. Changing and showering facilities are available to bicycle commuters at Simon Recreation Center, the Salus Fitness Center and Doisy Research Center; a SLU ID is required. SLU’s shuttles provide transportation on campus and points around St. Louis in a safe and time efficient way. The service is available to students, faculty and staff, as well as SLU visitors. Track the shuttles on the SLU Mobile App or download DoubleMap at the App Store or Google Play.
The Grand Shuttle runs a scheduled route between north and south campus 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two shuttles circulate through the 20-minute round-trip route to ensure pickup at each stop every 10 minutes.
The Billiken/Scott Hall Shuttle runs a scheduled route 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. Stops include the Busch Student Center, Pius Library, McDonnell Douglas Hall and Salus Center with a loop down to Scott Hall once every hour.
A van shuttle runs a scheduled route to and from the Parks College of Engineering, Aviation, and Technology location at the St. Louis Downtown-Parks Airport from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. For Saturdays, Sundays, and after 6 p.m. during the week, you can call SLURide at 314-977-7433 for a ride. Please call in advance to allow for travel time for SLURide from SLU to the airport.
Shuttles depart Griesedieck Hall on the hour Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with returning shuttles running until 8 p.m. Times may vary due to traffic slowdowns.
Shuttles do not run holidays and academic breaks. Follow SLU DPS on Twitter for closures and other updates. Contact SLU Ride at 314-977-7433 for on-campus transportation service during daytime hours.
Dial 314-977-7433 (RIDE) for safe escorts around campus and to and from the Grand MetroLink stop. You must provide your name and location, a phone number where you can be reached, your destination and the number of people who need a ride. Walking escorts may be provided for shorter distances.
Monday through Wednesday: 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Thursday: 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Friday: 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Sunday: 7 a.m. to 1 a.m
Regular hours are Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Contact DPS for rides from 6 p.m. to midnight weekdays, or 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday.
