Rising high school students entering grades 10–12 participate in this five-night,
six-day residential program and learn about land, air and water transportation and
engineering in a fun, inspiring environment.
As part of the Institute, students will:
Learn about land, air and water transportation and engineering in a fun and inspiring
Learn about aviation and participate in hands-on activities to simulate traffic and
bike lanes, design a bus route, and more.
Meet knowledgeable professors, successful engineers and undergraduate students who
are passionate about transportation, aviation and engineering.
Visit transportation facilities and learn about careers in transportation.
The program curriculum will consist of class lectures, hands-on activities and design
competitions, lectures by guest speakers, and field trips to transportation facilities.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with professors, graduate students,
and industry experts.
