Programs Offered in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training

  • Physical Therapy

    Saint Louis University's freshman entry Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) curriculum takes six years, including two summers. Students receive a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (BSES) after completion of the first four years, and the DPT degree after successful completion of the additional two post-baccalaureate years.

  • Athletic Training

    Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis and intervention of emergency, acute and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. Saint Louis University's Athletic Training Program is a direct entry into graduate-level program. Students can obtain a Master of Athletic Training degree in five years.
