Major Post-Graduate Scholarships
Individuals who wish to apply for the scholarships listed below must work through the Office of Post-Baccalaureate Scholarships and Fellowships and receive institutional endorsement. Prospective candidates should contact the office - firstname.lastname@example.org - by the dates indicated below. Completed (but not final) applications must submitted to the Office of Post-Baccalaureate Scholarships & Fellowships at least one month before the scholarship submission date for review by the University Selection Committee.
Fulbright Grants for research, study, or teaching assistantships throughout the world (Seniors, Graduate Students, and recent graduates)
For one-year of international study, research or teaching in a country of the candidate's choice. Soem fields of study or research are limited in certain countries. Candidates are B.S./B.A. graduates, masters and doctoral candidates, and young professionals and artists opportunities who are interested in planning their own project. Projects may include university coursework, independent library or field research, classes in a music conservatory or art school, special projects in the social or life sciences, or a combination. Several countries also offer English Teaching Assistant positions. The Fulbright Program offers invaluable opportunities to meet and work with people of the host country, sharing daily life as well as professional and creative insights, and provides a grant to support the completion of the candidate's project. Gates-Cambridge Scholarship for study at Cambridge University (Seniors and recent graduates)
For up to three years study in the UK at Cambridge University. Candidates will have outstanding intellectual ability, leadership potential, a commitment to improving the lives of others, and present a good fit between their qualifications and aspirations and the postgraduate program for which they are applying. The Gates Cambridge Scholarship provides all educational costs (tuition and fees), stipend for living expenses, travel to and from Cambridge, and miscellaneous (conference, field work, etc.) funding support as well. Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Award
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Arts Award recognizes and rewards America's promising up-and-coming artists from lower-income backgrounds with the nation's leading graduate scholarships in the visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing. Awards of up to $50,000 annually to study in the US or abroad. Link: www.jkcf.org
Marshall Scholarship for study at universities throughout the United Kingdom (Seniors and recent graduates)
For two years of study in the United Kingdom in any field. Candidates should excel as scholars, as leaders and as contributors to improved UK-US understanding. Assessment is based on academic merit, leadership potential and ambassadorial potential. Preference will be given to candidates who combine high academic ability with the capacity to play an active part in the life of the United Kingdom university to which they go, and to those who display a potential to make a significant contribution to their own society. The Marshall Scholarship provides university fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States and, where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse. Mitchell Scholarship for study al universities in Ireland (Seniors and recent graduates)
For one year study in Ireland in any field. Candidates should have significant achievement in three areas: academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community and public service. The Mitchell Scholars program provides tuition, housing, a stipend for living expenses, and an international travel stipend. Rhodes Scholarship for study at Oxford University (Seniors and recent graduates)
For two years of study in the UK at Oxford University in any field. Candidates are chosen not only for their outstanding scholarly achievements, but for their character, commitment to others and to the common good, and for their potential for leadership in whatever domains their careers may lead. The Rhodes Scholarship provides all educational costs (tuition and fees), stipend for living expenses, and travel to and from Oxford.

Boren Grants - Fellowships for Graduate Students
Boren Fellowships, funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), support U.S. graduate students to study less commonly taught languages (i.e., Critical Languages) in world regions critical to U.S. interests: Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Up to $30,000 to graduate students depending on cost and length of program.

Critical Language Scholarships for Intensive Summer Institutes (Undergraduate & Graduate Students)
Scholarships for U.S. citizen undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. students to participate in beginning, intermediate and advanced level intensive summer language programs at American Overseas Research Centers.

DAAD Scholarships (German Academic Exchange Service) (Rising Seniors and Recent Graduates)
Study Scholarships provide highly qualified individuals with an opportunity to do independent study in Germany or to complete a full Master's degree program at a German university. All fields of study. Language of instruction for most programs is English
Whitaker International Fellows & Scholars Program (Rising Seniors, Graduate Students)
Initially founded by the Whitaker Foundation, the Whitaker Program supports international collaboration in the growing field of biomedical engineering, from graduating seniors to post-doctorate degree holders. The award covers travel, living expenses, and tuition for Fellows (partial or full, depending on host university).
