Pre-Law Scholars Program
Qualified candidates for this program must have a combined (verbal plus mathematics) SAT score of at least 1250 or a minimum composite ACT score of 28, and have an outstanding academic record. Particular attention will be directed to students work in History, Social Studies, American Government and English.
Accepted Pre-Law Scholars are required to attend a special orientation given by the director of pre-law studies (Janet O'Hallaron) and the dean of the law school.
Eligible students may elect to take part in this program only in the fall semester, at the beginning of the freshman year, before the first day of classes. The program is not available to transfer students or to freshman at any time after the first day of classes. Prospective students may apply to the Pre-Law Scholars program in conjunction with their application to Saint Louis University. Coursework completed for college credit while the student is in high school will not count towards the required hours for completion of the program.
To enroll in the program students must sign and return the invitation to the pre-law office and enroll at Saint Louis University.
