Medical Scholar Program
The Medical Scholars Program at Saint Louis University is an exclusive opportunity for first time freshmen who plan to attend medical school. Students accepted into this highly selective program are placed on an early application to Saint Louis University School of Medicine. To apply to the Medical Scholar Program, candidates must have a composite ACT score of at least 30 or a combined SAT score of at least 1330 (math + critical reading) and an outstanding high school academic record which includes one year of biology, one year of chemistry and three years of mathematics. Emphasis is placed on the student having earned "A's" in math and science courses. Students with "C's" on their record will not be considered.

The Medical Scholars Program at Saint Louis University provides students with an opportunity to apply to gain conditional early acceptance to the SLU School of Medicine. While Medical Scholars are required to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), no minimum score is required although they are expected to do well. Medical Scholars have early application privileges, their acceptance to the School of Medicine is not guaranteed. Participating in the Medical Scholar Program provides the best possible opportunities to prepare you for medical school.
