Saint Louis University stands out as the only school in St. Louis on Yahoo! Internet Life's list of America's "100 Most Wired Colleges."
The magazine cites Saint Louis University for focusing on the academic benefits of the Internet through the campus network, World Wide Web access and computer labs. "Technology for Lunch," a noon discussion series for students and faculty, also was cited as a highlight by the magazine.
Saint Louis University offers e-mail accounts for students, campus computer labs and online registration and transcripts. Internet-only classes also are available.
Yahoo! Internet Life collaborated with Peterson's, a college guidebook publisher, to produce the "100 Most Wired Colleges" list.
