SluCare Opens New Center in City

Area Residents Get Free Health Screenings at Grand Opening

SLUCare, the health services division of Saint Louis University, has expanded its services by opening an office for its internal medicine group at 5411 South Grand Blvd.

The SLUCare medical group physicians are board-certified or board-eligible and serve on the faculty at the School of Medicine. The physicians will care for patients with acute and chronic medical problems and illnesses. Emphasis will be placed on preventive health measures.

SLUCare held a grand opening on Saturday, July 26. Attendees had the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked and received free glucose screenings.

"We look forward with great anticipation to giving care to patients in the new office," said Thomas J. Olsen, M.D., associate professor of internal medicine. "The grand opening was a good opportunity for people who live in the area to meet the physicians and nurses who will staff the office."

To make an appointment to see a SLUCare physician at the new center, call 268-5880.
