Dr. Charles Kirkpatrick has been reappointed dean of Parks College of Engineering and Aviation for another three-year term.
In September, Academic Vice Presi-dent Michael Garan-zini, SJ, wrote to all Parks College faculty asking them to evaluate Kirkpatrick's performance for the last three years since he assumed the deanship .
Garanzini said the responses he received were "overwhelming in their support for Chuck and the continuation of his deanship."
Kirkpatrick was praised for his handling of the move of Parks College from Cahokia to midtown, his fairness in dealing with personnel situations and his efficiency in managing the day-to-day affairs of the college.
"Please join me in thanking Chuck for his outstanding service and leadership," Garanzini said. "We are indeed grateful for his willingness to serve another term as dean."
