Bacon is singer Naomi Judd's liver specialist, and the two talked about the hepatitis C virus being undetectable in her body.

She also was quoted in USA Today, the Cincinnati Enquirer and other media outlets on doctors who skimp on prescribing pain killers for fear of prosecution for overprescribing narcotics.
