Law School Awarded Kresge Grant
The School of Law has been awarded a $500,000 challenge grant from the Kresge Foundation. The grant supports the law school's building and expansion campaign.
The $6.5 million expansion and renovation of the School of Law is scheduled for completion this spring. The project will expand the school's library, classrooms and office facilities. To receive the grant, the University was required to raise more than $2 million from a cross-section of donors, including University friends, alumni, corporations and foundations.
This is the fifth Kresge Challenge Grant awarded to Saint Louis University and the second awarded to the School of Law.
The Kresge Foundation, located in Troy, Mich., is an independent, private foundation that was created in 1924 by Sebastian S. Kresge "to promote the well-being of mankind."
