The department of public policy studies will sponsor a conference on urban planning and real estate development on April 6 at Busch Memorial Center.
The theme of the conference is "St. Louis and the St. Louis Region: How Do We Grow?" The conference officially will kick-off the new master's degree in urban planning and real estate development (to be offered for the first time this fall) and will provide a forum of discussion on the growth and development of the St. Louis region.
The Saint Louis University board of trustees gave final approval to the master's degree program at its meeting on March 14.
Planning and development experts from local and regional communities, as well as distinguished national experts, will participate in panels at the day-long event.
