Written briefs, within the same guidelines, may also be submitted to the hearing committee without an oral presentation.
The presenters of the briefs will be allowed a time period set by the facilitator. Briefs will be scheduled in the order in which they are received. Members of the committee can question the presenter for clarification of any detail of the brief. The proceedings will be tape recorded for accuracy of transcription by an appointed secretary.
Following the presentation of all the written briefs, the facilitator may, if time permits, open the floor to general discussion of the topic of the hearing. The hearing committee is committed to giving all members of the University an opportunity to present their views. Members who wish to submit longer statements should first contact the committee facilitator, professor J.R. Leguey-Feilleux of the department of political science located in Ritter Hall.
The hearings will address the undergraduate experience at Saint Louis University. The documents can be found at the following locations of the University Web pages: http://www.slu.edu/organizations/fye/REPORT.HTM and http://www.slu.edu/organizations/rmc/index.html.
