- Q: I need to request temporary help through the University's temporary service (SLU-Temps). What do I need to do to get someone as soon as possible?
- A: To obtain temporary help, departments are required to complete a SLU-Temp request form, which can be obtained by contacting the human resource department. Accurately completing this form will ensure that the temporary employee selected for your assignment possesses the qualifications and skills needed. Please answer every question on the form completely, sign and date the bottom of the form, fill in the account number to be charged and fax the completed form to Sandra Morgan-Cox in the human resource department at 977-1785. Once the department receives this form, you will be contacted and the search for a qualified SLU-Temp to fill your position will be initiated.
- Q: How was the salary range for my position determined?
- A: Salary ranges for all positions at the University are reviewed annually. The compensation group within the human resources department reviews salary survey data from numerous sources to ensure the salaries paid to our employees are competitive when compared with salaries paid for identical or similar positions in the marketplace.
Human resources wants to hear from you. Please send your questions to Michael Memos in Fitzgerald Hall.
