New outdoor tennis courts are up and running on a portion of the old Laclede Town development just south of Laclede Avenue across the street from the Billiken Sports Center.
This project is the first phase of a planned redevelopment by the University. Phase II, the area north of Laclede, cannot begin until the University has site control. Once the University gets the property, construction will take approximately six months. The portion will include a walking path, putting green, pond, gazebo and a softball diamond.
