Saint Louis University
SLU Financial Aid Office Sponsors FAFSA Workshops

It is that time of the year. Employees or their children who are using the UniversityÕs tuition remission benefit must file the 1998-99 Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. As of July 1 of last year, the University made filing the FAFSA a required part of the remission process. The FAFSA form must be filed for each academic year that a student uses the remission benefit. University employees using the benefit for themselves or their families also must also file a remission form for each semester and/or term that the benefit is used. This form must be completed, signed and a copy received in the office of scholarship/financial aid.

Questions? Call the office of scholarship/financial aid at 977-2350 during office hours: Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If an employee needs help filling out the FAFSA form, the office of scholarship/financial aid offers Faculty/Staff Completion Workshops on the following days:

  • Aug. 10 and Aug. 13, 1998: noon to 1 p.m., Busch Memorial Center, Room 204, Frost campus.
  • Aug. 11 and Aug. 14, 1998: noon to 1 p.m., Nursing School 012, Health Sciences Center.
