Saint Louis University School of Law Announces New Directors

S aint Louis University School of Law has announced the appointment of new directors for two of the school's specialized centers for law study.

Professors Thomas Greaney and Nicolas Terry will serve as co-directors of the Center for Health Law Studies. Greaney and Terry both bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise in the field of health law to continue the tradition of excellence that shaped one of the top health law programs in the country.

Terry has been a faculty member at the School of Law since 1980 and Greaney has been a member of the faculty since 1987.

Terry specializes in the integration of law and computers and specific research interests in emerging issues in e-health. Greaney's focus is in health law antitrust and finance. He previously was supervisor of the section in the antitrust division of the U.S. Department of Justice handling health law matters.

Professor Nancy Kaufman will take over as director of the Center for International and Comparative Law. Kaufman joined the faculty in 1989 and offers the center her personal experience as an international visiting professor and expert on international tax law. Kaufman spent many years teaching and lecturing on law at universities in China.

Greaney and Terry will fill the position formerly served by Professor Jesse Goldner. Kaufman will take over for Professors Isaak Dore and Stanislaw Frankowski.

"We offer our deep appreciation to Jesse Goldner, Isaak Dore and Stanislaw Frankowski," said Dean Jeffrey E. Lewis. "Their dedication and commitment over the years have helped shape these exceptional educational programs. We are confident our new directors will offer the same dedication and will continue the tradition of excellence in both centers."
