 
Professor of Pediatrics Honored by Heart Association |
S oraya Nouri, M.D., professor emeritus of pediatrics, was honored by the American Heart Association earlier this year at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. She was selected as the association's 2000 Medical Honoree in appreciation for her volunteer contributions to the association and her oustanding career in pediatric heart care at Cardinal Glennon Hospital and her teaching at the School of Medicine. In 1997, Nouri received the Arthur E. Strauss Award, the highest honor of the local chapter of the American Heart Association. She also is active on a national basis in work of the association.
