Catch the Billikens on TV

The department of athletics has announced its 15-game men's basketball television schedule. The Billikens will be featured nationally against Cincinnati on ESPN and will have 10 Conference USA games televised.

"We keep striving to present quality games to our fans each year in our television package," said Doug Woolard, director of athletics. "The combination of KSDK, WB11/KPLR and ever-growing Fox Sports Midwest maximizes our ability to reach potential households in the metropolitan St. Louis region."

The Billikens are scheduled to appear on KSDK-TV, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis, six times. The Billikens will appear on Fox Sports Midwest seven times. KSDK Sports director Mike Bush calls the action, and former Billiken Joe Wiley supplies the analysis.

The Billikens appear once on KPLR-TV, the WB affiliate in St. Louis, when Saint Louis tangles with Missouri for the first time in 19 years on Sunday, Dec. 12, before an expected crowd of 40,000 at the Trans World Dome. All other home games are at Kiel Center.
