Essay Contest

This year marked the 400th anniversary of the Ratio Studiorum, the founding document of Jesuit education. Grounded in what we would now call a "liberal arts education," the Ratio promotes the training of both the mind and the soul.

To celebrate 400 years of Jesuit education, the SLU chapter of Phi Beta Kappa is sponsoring an essay contest. The top two papers will receive prizes. All undergraduate students are encouraged to participate.
