DESIGN CONTEST: With only two hours to prepare, students from Parks College of Engineering and Aviation built model bridges on Feb. 22 that had to withstand several pounds of weight. Pictured here are senior Carlos Manglaro (left) and Dr. Sridhar Condoor, assistant professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering. The activity was part of National Engineers Week Feb. 20 to 26. The week was designed to raise awareness about the profession and the important contributions of engineers.
