Specialty Dental Care Available at Discounted Prices at CADE

Many faculty and staff may not know that Saint Louis University is home to a state-of-the-art facility offering specialty dental services at educational discount fees.

The Center for Advanced Dental Education (CADE),offers excellent services in endodontics (root canals), orthodontics (braces) and periodontics (diseases of the gum tissue and bone).

CADE is housed in the newly constructed Marshall-Dreiling building, conveniently located at 3320 Rutger Street, adjacent to the School of Allied Health Professions.

For an endodontic or periodontic appointment (including non-surgical and surgical therapies), obtain a referral from a general dentist, who would call 577-8184.

For an orthodontic appointment, call 577-8181.

A screening appointment usually is available in two to three weeks, but individuals with emergencies will be seen right away.

Graduate students in these specialties are highly qualified dentists under direct supervision in all phases of their training by SLU faculty specialists.

In addition to the three specialty clinics, a full range of general dental services are available at CADE, and appointments may be made by calling 577-8191. Please note that general dentistry costs at CADE are similar to dentists in private practice.
