Spring Enrollment and Credit Hours Are Up
|
The spring census shows enrollment is 1 percent higher than last year, and that credit hours have risen by 5 percent. Undergraduate applications for Fall 2000 are 7 percent higher than last year, and the quality of the applicant pool is outstanding. Applications for the School of Business and Administration are up by 25 percent, MBA applications are three times greater than last year, and applications for the School of Nursing are up by 38 percent. Enrollment at the Madrid Campus is on target. Applications for law and medicine have declined a bit, but this reflects a nationwide trend. Applications to the medical and law schools still are very strong, and enrollment targets will be exceeded.
