Events Here Promote Justice in Education
|
This spring will be a "Season for Justice" at Saint Louis University. Several events throughout the coming weeks will focus on justice in education and action as part of the University's ongoing commitment to the Jesuit mission.
"Season for Justice: Education/Action" was designated by members of the Justice Forum, established in the School of Public Service to raise an awareness of the programs and projects at the University that address questions of justice.
The forum is chaired by Dr. James Gilsinan, dean of the College of Public Service, and consists of representatives from the College of Public Service, School of Social Service, School of Public Health, Ethics Across the Curriculum and Office of Mission and Ministry.
Upcoming events include a March 25 School of Law Symposium on homelessness and advocacy, the Neighbor to Neighbor symposium April 4, National Victim's Rights Week beginning April 10 and the School of Public Health's Faith and Health Consortium April 12-13.
