SLU Pasta House Co. Restaurant to Offer Continental Breakfast

The new restaurant is conveniently located near the Village Apartments.

The opening of the SLU Pasta House Co. restaurant is just around the corner, and renovations to the building are just about complete. The University community will see a dramatic change in the building that used to house Colorado restaurant. There is a new design and new colors that give it the Pasta House Co. look and feel.

And in addition to its renowned lunch and dinner menus, the Pasta House Co. restaurant will also feature a weekday continental breakfast buffet. Faculty, staff and students are invited to enjoy the breakfast buffet each weekday morning from 7-10 a.m. The continental breakfast buffet will debut on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the day after the restaurant opens on Nov. 18.

Conveniently located near the Student Village Apartments, one of the city's most popular eateries will be the perfect spot for students, faculty and staff looking for a great meal. The new Pasta House Co. is located at 3761 Laclede, the former home of Colorado restaurant.

Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, particular care has been taken to make sure the new restaurant meets the needs of the SLU community. The restaurant recently announced new special features that should whet everyone's appetite.

On Sundays, the SLU Pasta House Co. will feature Nonna Tucci's traditional spaghetti and meatballs dinner with salad and ice cream included.

The SLU Pasta House Co. will offer many other special features, including:

Lunch specials beginning at just $3.99
Catering available
No sales tax with University ID

Semi-private banquets for groups of up to 60 people can be held and reservations for larger parties only will be accepted.

There are plans for an outdoor patio on the east side of the building.

SLU will own the building and the franchise but Pasta House Co. will manage the restaurant. Many of the jobs at the new restaurant will go to SLU students. Job applications are available at the restaurant.

The refurbished building will seat 160 and will have the same atmosphere and quality menu items as the other 19 Pasta House Co. locations in the metro St. Louis area. Beginning Monday, Nov. 18, the new Pasta House will be open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and from 11 a.m.-Midnight Friday and Saturday. No reservations are necessary. Takeout is available for busy students, faculty and staff,and delivery will also be available after the first of the year. Purchase orders will also be accepted.
