Each brick can be inscribed with personalized text, which can be used to honor a family member or friend.

Saint Louis University faculty, staff, alumni and friends can help support the University’s Arena project. Those making a minimum $500 donation to the project will receive a personalized brick to be placed outside the Arena. Each brick can be inscribed with personalized text, which can be used to honor a family member or friend. Special pavers are also available; qualified gifts receive premier placement and will spell out "SLU" in Recognition Plaza at the entrance to the Arena.

For faculty and staff, payroll deduction of up to five years is available, and the deduction can be as small as $3.85 per pay period for those paid bi-weekly, and $8.33 for those paid monthly.

The $70 million Arena will be built on University property near the intersection of Compton and Interstate 64/Highway 40. It will be home to the Billiken men’s and women’s basketball teams as well as hosting numerous other events, such as concerts, family shows and commencements.

More than $725,000 in brick donations already have been received. All of the commemorative bricks will be placed at the entrance to the Arena. For more information about the Arena project and to access the online Billiken Brick form, go to arena.slu.edu, or call 977-2499.
