Gallery to Exhibit Work by SLU Art Faculty

Park Avenue Gallery will present work by faculty in the Saint Louis University Studio Art program Friday, April 12, through Tuesday, May 7. The gallery showing will open with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Park Avenue Gallery, located at 1905 Park Avenue.

The exhibit will include large and small format oil paintings by Marcus Greene, Ted Wood, Jeff Vaughn, Deb Touhill and Eileen Greene on a variety of surfaces.

Sharron Pollack will show multi-color transfer prints and photographs reworked manually with graphite, while Amy Bautz's work features a multimedia, digital/analog painting technique. The exhibit also will feature recent video work by Saint Louis University Art Museum curator and installation artist Nanette Boileau.

The artists share a common interest in provocative contexts for figurative themes.
