Pasta House to Provide Exciting New Dining Options

One of the most popular restaurant chains in the St. Louis area will soon be opening a new location on the SLU campus. Work has been going on for weeks for the opening of the Pasta House restaurant Nov. 18. The former Colorado restaurant is being transformed into a restaurant that will serve the needs and tastes of the University community. The new Pasta House, at 3761 Laclede, next to the Village Apartments, is in a convenient location for faculty, students and staff.

The SLU Pasta House will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. In addition, great care has been taken to ensure the new restaurant caters to the needs of the University community. Among the special features of the new Pasta House:

• Billiken Bucks accepted
• Tuesday night all-you-can-eat specials
• Frequent diner’s program
• Lunch specials beginning at just $3.99
• Catering available
• No sales tax with SLU ID

The Pasta House opens Monday, Nov. 18.

SLU will own the building and the franchise but the restaurant will be managed by the Pasta House Co. Many of the jobs at the new restaurant will go to SLU students. Job applications are available at the restaurant.

The refurbished building will seat 160 and will have the same atmosphere and quality menu items as the other 19 Pasta House locations in the metro St. Louis area. Beginning Monday, Nov. 18, the new Pasta House will be open from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and from 11 a.m.-Midnight Friday and Saturday. No reservations are necessary. Takeout is available for busy students, faculty and staff.
