Upgrades Scheduled for Junk Email Blockers

ITS will upgrade the equipment in stages, leaving one piece active while the second piece is being upgraded and non-operational. This will cause all email to pass through only one device instead of sharing it between two devices. The unusual load of email on the device may cause the mail to process a little more slowly. Email still will be active during the upgrade, but messages coming from addresses outside the University may arrive in your inbox a little slower than normal.

The entire upgrade is scheduled to be completed by noon Tuesday, July 8. After that time, service should return to normal and no delays in delivery should occur.
