The department of physician assistant education will host an information session 3-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, in Room 3036 of the Doisy College of Health Sciences Building. The session is free and open to anyone interested in learning about SLU's physician assistant program as well as the profession in general. Admission and selection issues also will be addressed. To reserve your spot at the session, call the physician assistant department at (314) 977-8521.

SLU's physician assistant program is a 27-month master's degree program. A physician assistant is a health care professional licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. For more information, visit the program's website at www.slu.edu/doisycollege/pa.
