Division of Allergy Recruiting Study Volunteers

Saint Louis University Division of Allergy is recruiting subjects to participate in a research study to compare the efficacy and safety of an investigational nasal spray with placebo (inactive drug) nasal spray in adults with perennial allergic rhinitis.

Volunteers meeting the following criteria are needed:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience year round symptoms of nasal congestion, runny nose, nasal itching or sneezing when exposed to allergens such as animal dander, house dust mites, cockroach, or mold
  • Must not be pregnant; taking any prescription nasal sprays or have spring allergies

The following will be provided at no cost to volunteers:

  • Routine physical and nasal exams
  • Diagnostic testing (blood tests, ECG’s)
  • Study medication for up to 4 weeks
  • Compensation for time and travel
