Anna Kinsella Named 2006 Leopold Marcus Award WinnerAnna Kinsella, a Saint Louis University senior and chemistry major doing undergraduate research, has been named the winner of the 36th Annual Leopold Marcus Award competition for her presentation, “Development and Optimization of a Microchip-based Bio-fuel Cell.” Kinsella’s work was carried out under the direction of Shelley Minteer, Ph.D., and R. Scott Martin, Ph.D. Finalists Cassondra Caldwell, Jennifer Fraser, Mark Mans and Dianne Tran will also receive award citations. The Leopold Marcus Award was established by Jack and Gertrude Marcus in memory of his late father and is awarded annually to a senior chemistry major doing undergraduate research at Saint Louis University.
