New Staff Advisory Committee Board Announced

The Staff Advisory Committee has announced its executive board for 2006-2007.

The board is as follows:

  • Chairperson: Connie Tillman, department of public safety
  • Chair-elect: Carolyn Mulhall, School of Medicine
  • Recording secretary: Susan Torretta, School of Medicine
  • Corresponding secretary: Troy Turnipseed, John Cook School of Business
  • Immediate past chair: Lee McDurmont, School of Medicine

“Please congratulate these individuals when you see them and thank them for their contributions to Saint Louis University,” said Kathy Hagedorn, vice president for human resources. “I look forward to working closely with the new executive board.”

“I also would like to thank Lee for his commitment and dedication to the Staff Advisory Committee during the last year,” Hagedorn added.

The Staff Advisory Committee serves the University community by providing input on new and existing policies and acting as an advisory group to human resources as well as promoting dialogue between the administration and staff.

The Staff Advisory Committee is part of the shared governance of Saint Louis University. Its members sit on several board of trustees committees, the President's Coordinating Council and other important committees.

Be a liaison to your peers and join. All hourly and exempt staff (including management) who are not part of a collective-bargaining unit are encouraged to participate in this University-sanctioned organization.
