SLUCOR Sponsors Faculty Member's Daughter in Mitochondrial Disease Event

SLUCOR is sponsoring 8-year-old Jenny Schnitzler in the 1/2 mile kids run. She is the daughter of a SLU faculty member and was diagnosed with Mitochondrial disease called Leigh's.

The event will be held at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Ill., from 9 a.m.-noon. Registration starts at 8 a.m., and there is a $20 registration fee. There are cash prizes for the winners.
