The office of research services administration (ORSA) announces the 2006-2007 Beaumont Faculty Development Fund (BFDF) Competition. The Beaumont Faculty Development Fund has four objectives: to assist faculty in new or ongoing research; to support pilot research and concept development; to assist faculty in the development of skills and competencies to pursue research and external support; and to support pursuit of scholarly activity, including course and curriculum development.

ORSA will conduct an informational workshop on preparing applications for the BFDF Competition 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in Verhaegen Hall, Room 324. Space is limited. To reserve a seat, contact Bridget Turner at turnerbk@slu.edu or (314) 977-2241.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1.
