100 Percent Pass Rate On National Boards Reported for Nuclear Medicine Students

The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapeutics in the Doisy College of Health Sciences proudly reports a 100 percent pass rate on the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Boards for the 2005 SLU graduates of the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.

The average scaled scores for the class placed Saint Louis University in the top 15 percent of all NMT Programs in the nation. The boards are given to all graduating students by the NMTCB and are required to practice nuclear medicine technology.

“The graduates of the NMT Program continue to perform well on the national boards.” said William Hubble, academic chair of the department. “SLU NMT graduates are successful in finding employment and are highly sought after.”

The NMT Program was recently approved for a seven year re-accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology. The seven year accreditation status is reserved for only programs with an exemplary record.
