Fundraiser to Benefit Culinary Scholarship FundST. LOUIS –- Members of the Saint Louis University community will have the opportunity to preview a soon-to-open restaurant on Thursday, Sept. 14, at a benefit for the SLU Culinary Scholarship Fund."Harps, Fiddles & Rip-Your-Face-Off Fender Strats” will be held at The Dubliner, 1025 Washington. The new Irish pub and restaurant is co-owned by Eddie Neill, who also manages Fresh Gatherings, the restaurant operated by the department of nutrition and dietetics in the lower level of the College of Health Sciences Building. Appetizers and beverages will be served from 6 to 9 p.m. and live music by Searson, a Celtic rock band, begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and cost $20 for Saint Louis University faculty, staff and alumni and $10 for SLU students.
