Programs Help Children Live, Learn, Play

Lise Gerard Faulise, clinical instructor in SLU’s Occupational Therapy Pediatric Community and Clinical Practice, is offering "Help Children Live, Learn and Play," several programs for families, caregivers and professionals.

The mission of the program is to offer comprehensive, compassionate pediatric therapy services, including evaluation, treatment, consultation and training for professionals and families. Benefits of the services include enhancing children's quality of life and allowing their pursuit of self-management, play, school and social skills.

The Social Skills Program consists of several different peer based programs. "Ready to Play", "Building Buddies", "SLU Kid Connection to Social Skills" and "Cool Factor" are four separate groups with different targeted ages. Parent training is included as a component of all group programs. Other programs offered include "Oral Motor Program", "Express Yourself Written Expression" and "Program and Community D3velopment and Training Programs".
