The Reinert Center for Teaching Excellence announces a call for presentation and poster proposals for a regional conference on Technology and Teaching. The conference, which is co-sponsored by the CTE and UMSL, will be held at UMSL Nov. 2 and 3.

The conference will feature a keynote address and workshop by Christian Jernstedt, Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Dartmouth College. The keynote will be "The Neurological Foundations of Learning: Appreciating the Uniqueness and Power of the Brain."

Registration is free for SLU faculty and staff.

The deadline for proposals is September 30th, 2006. Online submission is available at www.umsl.edu/services/ctl/fac_programs/teach_with_tech/conference.html.
