Volunteers Needed for Individual Nutrition CounselingSenior dietetic students are in need of volunteers to participate in an individualized nutrition counseling. These students, as part of their course work, are required to counsel individuals from the community on three different areas, including healthy eating, weight loss, and cardiovascular risk reduction. If you are interested in this counseling opportunity, contact Amy Moore at (314) 977-8523 or artemear@slu.edu.Counseling will be conducted in the Doisy College of Health Sciences Buliding, room 2070. Each counseling session will last about one hour. You may sign-up for one or all three. The weight loss counseling is the only session that will also have a follow-up session lasting about one half-hour.
Healthy Eating Counseling: 1 hour counseling session on basic healthy eating. Wednesday or Friday available.
Weight Loss Counseling-First counseling session will last for about 1 hour and follow-up session will be 30 minutes

Cardiovascular Counseling: 1 hour counseling session on individualized risk reduction for Cardiovascular Health
