Special Shared Vision Session Scheduled for New Faculty Members
What does it mean to belong to a worldwide Jesuit network of education? How does SLU’s Jesuit mission impact what and how a faculty member teaches?
New faculty members are invited to discover for themselves at the Oct. 6 Shared Vision program, an exclusive showing just for them. Shared Vision is a video-and-discussion program that explores the University’s Jesuit identity. The Friday, Oct. 6 program will be held 1-3 p.m. in the Knights Room of Pius XII Memorial Library. The program looks at the transitions the Ignatian vision encountered as it became part of the American culture and the modern era. Refreshments will be served.
The program will be facilitated by Dr. Scott Safranski, associate dean and professor in the John Cook School of Business, and Mary Flick, director of mission programs. It is co-sponsored by the Provost’s Office and the Division of Mission and Ministry. To reserve a place, contact terneusl@slu.edu, or call 977-2428.
